5-Day Tanzania Small Group Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Tarangire National Park
Your small group safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha, heading դեպի Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive, where you may begin to witness the Great Migration (seasonal), along with predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Dinner and overnight at a mid-range tented camp in the Serengeti.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. This day offers excellent opportunities to follow the Great Migration herds and observe dramatic wildlife interactions. Your guide will navigate different مناطق of the park to maximize sightings, including elephants, buffalo, hyenas, and diverse bird species. Optional early morning or sunset drives enhance your experience in this iconic ecosystem. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Serengeti (Half Day) – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Arrive in the late afternoon at your lodge located on or near the crater rim, offering breathtaking views. Relax and prepare for the next day’s crater exploration. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site, often referred to as a natural wildlife sanctuary. The crater floor is home to an incredible density of wildlife, including the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch, ascend the crater and begin your return journey to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable small group safari adventure.
